June 4, 2009 (LAREDO, TX) The Laredo Entertainment Center is thrilled to announce the final two installments for the 1st Annual Laredo Entertainment Center’s Summer Jam Series. After announcing the 1st part featuring world-renowned hip-hop artist Akon with Flo-Rida & Electrik Red to be featured on June 18th @ 7:30pm, Roy Medina, General Manager for the SMG-managed facility, promised that the series would encompass something for everyone; and that promise has been fulfilled!
Coming to the LEC on July 9th @ 7:30pm is the “Texas Triple Threat Event” featuring country artists Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, and Roger Creager! “Country music fans, old and young alike, will definitely get their money’s worth with these three 100% Texas Cowboys giving it their all for Laredo fans” said Roy Medina, General Manager for the SMG-managed Laredo Entertainment Center.
Trying not to leave any particular genre out of the mix, coming to the LEC on August 18th @ 7:30 pm is the “Stimulate This” Tour featuring rock group sensations STAIND, Chevelle, Shinedown, Halestorm, and LoPro! This event is co-presented by 94.9 The Works. “Rock enthusiasts have been waiting for this for a long time, and we feel that this event will prove to be well worth the wait” added Medina.
The economy has taken its toll on every household, but with the ½ off discount on the day of the on-sale offered only at the LEC box office, it will definitely give everyone an opportunity to come out and see these great artists. Tickets for both events will go on-sale Saturday, June 13th at 10 am and prices are as follows:
“Texas Triple Threat Event” featuring Country music artists Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, & Roger Creager are regularly priced at $38 GA floor, $28, $18, $8 (plus facility fee) but will be ½ off on day of the on-sale for $19 GA floor, $14, $9, $4 (plus facility fee).
“Stimulate This Tour” featuring rock group sensations STAIND, Chevelle, Shinedown, Halestorm, and LoPro are regularly priced at $46 GA Floor, $36, $26, $16 (plus facility fee) but will be ½ off day of the on-sale for $23 GA floor, $18, $13, $8 (plus facility fee).
