Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Blas Castañeda Basketball Shade Structure

The City of Laredo proudly announces the much awaited ribbon cutting of the Blas Castaneda Basketball Shade Structure. This large steel structure is only part of ongoing improvements to provide much needed shade for all park users. Spearheaded by the efforts of Councilman Johnny Rendon, funding was made possible through 2007 bond funds for a total investment of $125,000; a worthwhile contribution to the Blas Castaneda Park and an invaluable benefit to District V residents and all park visitors. Community is welcome to attend!
