MAYOR SALINAS ELEVATED TO CONFERENCE ADVISORY COUNCIL

Providence, RI — In addition to City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas being honored by the Latino Leaders Network for his leadership on immigration and border issues, the membership of the United States Conference of Mayors today elected Mayor Salinas as a member of the organization’s Advisory Board. Mayor Salinas reacted to the vote, stating: “While I am humbled by the vote of confidence of my colleagues, I am more than anything pleased for Laredo. From the Advisory Council of the United States Conference of Mayors I can continue to ensure that Laredo’s agenda is this nation’s urban leaders agenda.”
