Arrest Warrant Served on Felony Possession

This Morning Pedro Vasquez was arrested by Laredo Police at 1500 Flores on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Control Substance (cocaine) F/2. The Laredo Police SWAT team was utilized to serve the warrant and the suspect was arrested without incident. The warrant stems from a traffic stop incident back in April of 2009 when Vazquez was traveling in a car when it was pulled over. Vasquez was in possession of a white powder believed to be cocaine and after it was verified thru testing an arrest warrant was issued. He is being held on a $50,000 bond by Oscar Liendo.
