Texas A&M International University will observe Earth Day ‘09 with activities all week.
This Week:
Wednesday-Friday
Recycling is underway in the Student Center from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. daily. Bring old cell phones, phone books, magazines, newspapers, Ni-CD, Li-ion, Pb batteries.
Wednesday:
Earth Day Student Government/ Recycling Committee will provide free tote bags and recycling tips, April 22 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Student Center patio.
Thursday:
Join Willy Bote from the City of Laredo at 10:30 a.m. at the Student Center
Friday:
Join the Big Event community service event with Student Government and other student orgs as we beautify the campus pond near University Village.
Saturday:
Join us for our second Big Event as we join others to help beautify the Zacate Creek area.
