LAREDO, TX – Currently, there are no road or bridge closures due to inclement weather conditions within the eight-county TxDOT Laredo District. (The Laredo District serves Dimmit, Duval, Kinney, La Salle, Maverick, Val Verde, Webb & Zavala counties)
However, as we prepare for the current winter weather event whereby freezing temperatures are predicted over the next few nights, please be advised that Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) maintenance crews have begun treating state highway system bridges around the state in order to prevent icy road/bridge conditions and a safe travel passage for motorists.
