New Principal for United ISD’s Nye Elementary Announced

(Laredo, Texas)-The United Independent School District Board of Trustees and Superintendent Roberto J. Santos are proud to announce that Cynthia Caballero has been promoted to the position of Principal at Nye elementary school. Ms. Caballero has been serving the campus as an Assistant Principal since 2004.
A sampling of her accomplishments and activities during her tenure includes the launch of Nye’s P.B.I.S. program, serving as presenter for campus professional development projects,and holding the position of Chair for the campus emergency response team.
Ms. Caballero earned her Associate of Arts degree at LCC, then continued her education and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology (Cum Laude), Master of Science in Education, and School Administration Certificate at Texas A&M International University. She will assume her new post in time for the start of the 2016-2017 school year
