Laredo’s Costco Distribution Center Donates Backpacks to UISD Students

Courtesy Alex Meyer,(Laredo, Tx)- For many years, Laredo’s Costco Distribution Center has helped thousands of UISD students prepare for school by donating backpacks and school supplies. Once again, Costco has generously donated 800 backpacks, each filled everyday school necessities. The backpacks are being distributed to students at campuses across the District.
Some of the recipients include some Cuellar Elementary students, who received a special visit and backpacks from Costco General Manager Eric Bryntenson, who was accompanied by his wife Adriana and their daughter Mariana. Cuellar Principal Melissa Shinn and UISD Trustee Ricardo Rodriguez welcomed The Brytenson family and thanked Costco for helping our students get a good start for the new school year.
