Chamber of Commerce’s School Bell Award Honorees

(Laredo, Texas)-The Laredo Chamber of Commerce-Education Committee honored some of Laredo’s exceptional educators at their Annual School Bell Award Banquet held on May 19 at Texas A&M International University.
This years recipient’s from the United Independent School District were: Maria Elena Dominguez, Killam Elementary; Carlos U. Ramirez, United Middle, and Ana Cristina Martinez, Lyndon B. Johnson High. Each honoree was surrounded by their family, friends and co-workers at the event and each gave a brief speech on how they believe they have touched the lives of children in their respective teaching positions. Each received an award and a symbolic school bell for their honor.
