Muller Elementary Second Grade Students are Fundraising Champs

Earlier this month, second graders at all 26 UISD elementary campuses held their own Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), fundraisers efforts, which consisted of selling decorative mobiles and participating in school Hop-a-Thons. Muller elementary emerged as the top UISD elementary school with a grand total of $1,343.86.
The funds will be used to send children with disabilities to MDA summer camp. Mrs. Angie Alejo, UISD Elementary Science Coordinator, said that MDA fundraising events give students a better understanding of what Muscular Dystrophy is and how it affects the lives of children and adults. Congratulations to the second grade Muller Elementary Falcon team!
