UISD’s February’s Youths of the Month

(Laredo, Tx)-Four students (one from each U.I.S.D. high school) earned the distinction of being named Youth of the Month for February 2014. The monthly programs recognizes local high school students who excel in academics and participate in extracurricular and community service activities. Teachers and counselors nominate students for the honor. This month’s ceremony was held on February 19 inside the Dazzler Practice Hall at Alexander High School. The Youth of the Month program is sponsored in part by the U.S. Border Patrol, The Senate of Texas, United States Congress, I.B.C., Royal Laser Wash, McDonald’s, AHEC, The Rock Fitness Center, Laredo Energy Arena, Awardmasterz.com, Dr. Sara E. Campos, M.D. and the City of Laredo Public Access Channel.
