(Laredo, Tx)-The highlight of Los Obispos recent Career Day, held  on November 22^nd,  was a visit from renown bodybuilder/actor/model/ motivational speaker Greg Plitt. Plitt, a native of Baltimore Maryland, told students that his success came as direct result of his positive outlook on life. “There is no such thing as a limit when you are trying to reach your fullest potential. Challenges help us grow mentally and physically, so they are not to be seen as obstacles when they are really doors to opportunity and success”, said Plitt.

  It was after the spoken portion of his presentation that Plitt challenged students to test their physical abilities. The “test” was a series of vigorous exercises set up at “stations” throughout the school gymnasium.  Hundreds of students eagerly volunteered and proceeded to jubilantly kick, squat, sit-up and jump their way through the myriad routines. “I learn as much from students as they do from me. I believe that everyone has something great to offer, and I want children to know that early in life” concluded Plitt.
