United Middle School Students Bring Their Creativity Into The Classroom

Courtesy Carmen Rendon, (Laredo, Texas)-There was so much excitement and positivity towards literacy and creativity this morning in Mary Ramirez’s Reading Class.  United Middle School seventh grade students decorated pumpkins all in part of a creative reading lesson of the book Sleepy Hollow.  Students selected significant scenes or characters and painted them onto their pumpkins creating a Sleepy Hollow Storyline Pumpkin Patch.
