Police Investigate Death

On Thursday October 07, 2010 at approximately 10:30 pm a 911 phone call was made to the Laredo Police Department dispatch concerning a shooting at a residence on the 1000 block of Eden Lane in Del Mar C. Upon arrival police met with a relative of the man who lived at this address indicating that he discovered a body just a few moments ago. The police found the deceased man, later identified as Luis Eduardo Campbell-Loa age 55 shot in the residence. The Webb County Coroner’s office declared the man dead at the scene. A full autopsy will be performed to determine the official cause of death. Meanwhile the LPD Crimes against Persons unit is conducting an ongoing investigation in this death.
