Dead Body Found in Los Fresnos Subdivision

Laredo, Texas (Webb County) – On Monday, October 4th 2010 at approximately 7:16 A.M., a report was made with the Webb County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an individual that was found lying down by a road at the Los Fresnos subdivision approximately 18 miles out of Laredo, Texas. Upon the arrival of the Deputies, a female was found to be deceased. The Webb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was contacted along with the Webb County Medical Examiner. The Webb County Medical Examiner pronounced the female deceased on scene. At this time the Webb County Sheriff’s office is not able to comment on this situation until more information is obtained. Cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. At this time we are treating this case as a Homicide. The identity of the female will not be released until all necessary family members are notified.
