Road Closure Continues for Downtown Water, Sanitary, Sewer and Storm Drainage Improvement Project

The downtown intersection of Flores Avenue and Hidalgo Street will be re-opened this Friday, September 17, 2010, at 7:00 a.m., in order to restore westbound traffic. The block immediately south of the intersection, Flores Avenue between Hidalgo Street and Lincoln Street, will remain closed until late September as the contractor, MDA Inc, from Houston, TX, continues to repave the street with concrete, now that underground work for water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage improvements has been completed.
