The Laredo Broncos have announced they have signed OF Maiko Loyola to a 2010 contract. Loyola, a six year professional baseball player, spent two years in the Pirates organization, before playing three years with the Rays organization and spent 2009 with the Detroit Tigers organization. A Career batting average of , Loyola is expected to fill the void left by Kenny Gilbert when he injured his knee.
