LPD Narcs seize 30 lbs of Marijuana Make two arrests

On May 26, 2010, Laredo Police Narcotics/Vice Unit assisted by Laredo Police Patrol Division conducted consent to search by an apartment located at the 400 block of Gale. 25 small bundles of Marijuana were recovered with a combined weight of 30 pounds. Manrique Santiago Jr. and Alberto Carmona were arrested for Possession of Marijuana F/3. 
Subjects were booked at the Laredo Police Department. Later they were transported to the Webb County Jail in lieu of no bond. All evidence recovered at the scene was photographed and taken the Laredo Police property room. The search was a culmination of a multiple day investigation which included surveillance after information came in to the LPD anonymously about the activity seen at this location. After a few days it was determined that illegal narcotics were present at the home.
