Arrested for $16,000 in Unpaid Traffic Tickets

LPD arrested Luis Valverde at 1800 block of Pierce for an outstanding warrant for unpaid traffic tickets. He was under a $16,000 bond set by Municipal Court magistrate. He was arrested without incident.
Is this dude like really short? and how do you end up with 16,000 in tickets?
