Box with 16 lbs of Marijuana

On May 13, 201010 members of the Laredo Police Narcotics/Vice Unit, with the assistance of the K-9 and patrol divisions, obtained consent to search a box in a vehicle after a traffic stop. 
The search yielded 16.5 pounds of marijuana. Jose Villarreal Jr., Delfino Santos, and Adan Vasquez, were charged with Possession of Marihuana F/3 and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity F/2. Villarreal, Santos and Vasquez were taken to the Laredo Police Dept. and booked. All defendants were later remanded to the Webb County Jail and held pending magistration. All seized property was logged into the Laredo Police Dept. Evidence Room.
