CITY OF LAREDO CLOSURE NOTICE

All City of Laredo administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2010 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday. Protective and emergency services will be operational.
No garbage or recycling pick-up will be available that day. The City of Laredo Landfill will also be open that day, but closed on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Trash pick-up schedule will resume on regularly scheduled routes on Tuesday.
The Laredo Public Library will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2010. The Bruni Plaza branch will be closed Monday and Tuesday, January 19, 2010. City of Laredo administrative offices will re-open on Tuesday, January 19, 2009, during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The next regularly scheduled City Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. King was instrumental in helping to end segregation in school and was a leader in securing civil rights for minorities.
