All-time series (Regular season): Bucks 5-5 vs. Eagles
2009-10: First meeting
Last Meeting: 12/26/08 @COL 5, LAR 4
The Bucks play for the first time since last Sunday when they beat Texas 4-3 to get back in the win column. Laredo moved to within two points of Texas for third place in the Southern Conference. Mark O’Leary made a major impact in his first game as a Buck picking up a goal and an assist. Adam Rivet scored two points Sunday to pick up his 200th career point.
Despite the win on Sunday the Bucks struggled on the power-play going one-for-nine making them just five-for-41 in their last five contests.
The Bucks host the Eagles Friday night for the first time since January 6, 2008 when Laredo won 5-3. Adam Rivet had four points that night (2-2=4) to lead the Bucks to the win.
Laredo will play twice in Colorado later this month (Jan. 20th & 22nd) to close out their season series.
The Eagles are trying to snap a two-game winless streak (0-1-1) as they play their fourth of a five game road trip Friday night. Colorado is coming off a 5-1 loss at Allen last Friday and a 4-3 overtime loss at Texas last Saturday.
Colorado sits one point ahead of Rapid City for first place in the Northern Conference.
The Bucks will play their final game before the all star break Saturday night when they travel to Corpus Christi.
