LAREDO, Texas — The City of Laredo invites the community to celebrate culture, tradition, and remembrance at the fourth annual Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 4 to 9 p.m. at North Central Park, 10202 International Blvd.

District 6 Council Member Dr. Tyler King and the Rotary Club of Laredo Next Generation have come together to plan this year’s celebration and invite residents to participate in the annual tradition.

Now in its fourth year, the Día de los Muertos celebration brings families, friends, and community members together to honor loved ones who have died while preserving the cultural traditions surrounding the holiday. Through music, art, food and family-friendly activities, the event provides an opportunity for residents of all ages to celebrate their heritage and share meaningful customs with future generations.

This year’s festivities will feature a Catrina Contest, food vendors, mariachi music, ballet folklórico performances, informational booths, and other activities. The evening will also include the Día de los Muertos X RotaRun Glow 5K, beginning at 7 p.m.
