El Metro Announces Regular Transit Service and Office Closures for Founder’s Day

LAREDO, Texas — El Metro Transit System will operate regular fixed-route bus service and El Lift/Paratransit service on Monday, October 12, 2026, in observance of Founder’s Day.
El Metro’s Administrative Office and Customer Service Office will be closed for the holiday. Riders should note the following service schedule:
Fixed-Route Bus Service: Regular service
El Lift/Paratransit: Regular service
Customer Service Office: Closed
Administrative Office: Closed
Administrative and customer service operations will resume following the Founder’s Day observance.
El Metro appreciates the community’s understanding and wishes all riders a safe and enjoyable holiday.
