(Laredo, Texas)-Tonights basketball game lived up to the hype as both Laredo Buzz and the defending league champion Team Loaded played a tough game on both sides of the court. Neither team would let up throughtout the whole game with an exciting first half coming to a close with the buzz up by a score of 26-24.

Team Loaded capitalized on its youth as their players were able to play a fast paced game that was disruptive against the Buzz offense. Laredo Buzz though was able to regain its composure in the second half with its own tough defense out rebounding Loaded to come back and score in transition.

They took a quick lead in the second half pacing themselves against a young team that wouldn’t give up. The Buzz used its strength and height to keep Loaded at bay ultimatley winning by a final score of 66-52.

Up next for Laredo Buzz is another young and upcoming team in LeGreatness Elite which is comprised of last year’s United South Seniors from its Varsity Team. Team Loaded will now face Howland in another great matchup as Howland loses tonight to LeGreatness Elite.

Still in contention is OnScene and Dos Marias which will face each other with the winner still advancing to the next bracket of the playoffs.
