Temporary Street Closure at Sidney Sheldon Dr.

Laredo, Texas — The City of Laredo notifies the community of a temporary street closure for a project Clear Choice ER to begin on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 at 08:00 am through Saturday, August 29th, 2026 to 5:00pm, along Sidney Sheldon Dr., northbound lane Jacaman Rd. and Fenwick Dr. This closure is due to the Utility work. Work will take approximately four (4) days for completion, weather permitting. Progress updates will be made available by the Building Development Services Division.
Motorists and pedestrians are cautioned to avoid the construction area entirely and to take alternate routes or to use extreme caution when traveling through the site. Residents are urged to adhere to all posted traffic control signs and devices in order to provide safety to all citizens and minimize traffic congestion in the affected area.
