City of Laredo Independence Day Holiday Closure Notice

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of Independence Day on Friday, July 3, 2026. All services will resume normal operation hours on Monday, July 6, 2026. Various operations and services will continue to be offered, as indicated below:
Garbage & Recycling Collection
Friday, July 3, 2026, there will be no changes to the schedule.
There will be NO lawn clipping or branch collection on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Landfill
OPEN on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
El Metro Transit
Fixed Route – Will be offering its Sunday’s schedule on Friday, July 3, 2026.
El Lift – Will be offering its Sunday’s schedule on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Administrative Office & Customer Service – Closed
The administrative office and customer service will resume regular business hours on Monday, July 6, 2026.
