City of Laredo to Continue Bottled Water Distribution for Residents Impacted by Precautionary Boil Water Notice

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo will continue bottled water distribution efforts to residents affected by the precautionary boil water notice currently in effect for the Jefferson Water Treatment Plant service area.
Water treatment operations continue functioning normally, system pressure remains stable, and disinfectant residual levels remain within operational standards.

As part of the City’s response efforts and continued commitment to public health and safety, bottled water distribution will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026, beginning at 12:00 p.m., at three locations:
•Sames Auto Arena, 6700 Arena Blvd., Laredo, TX 78041
• Bill Johnson Student Activity Center (UISD SAC), 5208 Santa Claudia Lane, Laredo, TX 78043
• Veterans Field, 2200 Santa Maria Ave.., Laredo, TX 78040
Distribution will continue while supplies last.
Traffic flow maps for all distribution locations are attached. Residents are encouraged to review designated entry and traffic routes prior to arrival and follow all on-site traffic directions and safety guidance to help ensure an efficient distribution process.
The City of Laredo continues coordinating response efforts, enhanced monitoring, and additional laboratory testing while working to restore full water quality as quickly as possible. Additional information and updates will continue to be shared as they become available.
