Laredo College Marks Lunar New Year with Global Learning and Study Abroad Event

(Laredo, Texas)- Laredo College will combine cultural celebration with global learning outreach during its “New Year, New Destinations” event highlighting Lunar New Year traditions while introducing students to study abroad opportunities available through the college.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Ft. McIntosh Campus Harold R. Yeary Library in room 222. Open to the public and free of charge, “New Year, New Destinations” will feature a brief study abroad informational session, followed by interactive stations where students can learn about upcoming international programs, sign up for study abroad advising and join the GLOBE Student Organization
