City of Laredo Presidents’ Day Closure Notice

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of Presidents’ Day, on Monday, February 16, 2026. All services will resume to regular schedule on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Certain operations and services will continue to be offered, as indicated below:
Solid Waste Services
Regular garbage collection
NO lawn-clipping & branch collection
The City Landfill will be OPEN regular hours 8:00 AM -5:00 PM (weather permitting).
El Metro Transit
Fixed Route – Regular Schedule
El Lift/Paratransit Service – Regular Schedule
Administrative Office & Customer Service – CLOSED
Administrative office and Customer Service will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
