Texas Community Bank’s $1M gift, endowment to benefit Laredo College students

(Laredo, Texas)- Laredo College is the proud beneficiary of a $1 million gift from Texas Community Bank (TCB), a locally owned and operated, community-oriented financial institution with deep roots along the South Texas-Mexico border.
The generous donation will primarily benefit economically disadvantaged students who require financial support to pursue higher education at Laredo College.
The funds will provide financial assistance through scholarships supporting tuition, fees and other costs of attendance. Half of the gift will be used to establish a new endowment fund, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability.
