City of Laredo Announced Navidad Fest 2025

LAREDO, Texas— The holiday season is upon us, and the City of Laredo is excited to welcome the community back to Navidad Fest 2025, the city’s beloved annual holiday celebration. This year’s event will once again deliver an evening filled with festive fun, family activities, and community spirit on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Sames Auto Arena.
From 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., attendees can enjoy a winter wonderland of activities, live entertainment, and the highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Countdown led by Santa Claus and Mayor Dr. Victor Treviño at 7:00 p.m.
Festivities Include:
Free Ice Skating (ticket required; limited sessions)
Photos with Santa Claus (ticket required; limited availability)
Free cookies and hot chocolate (while supplies last)
Snow Slide, Train Rides & Santa’s Workshops
Ornament Decorating Activity: Create holiday-themed ornaments with staff from Keep Laredo Beautiful.
Christmas Trolley with Holiday Characters: Meet beloved characters thanks to El Metro.
Santa’s Passport to Health: An interactive scavenger hunt across event booths thanks to Laredo Public Health.
Pet Adoptions & Christmas Fashion Show: Adoption fees waived during the event thanks to Animal Care
Services.

Live Performances by local student choirs.
The event is free; however, tickets are required for select activities. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the Sames Auto Arena box office beginning at 2:00 p.m. on December 3.
Ice Skating Tickets:
Limit 4 tickets per family
7 sessions available
Each session lasts 30 minutes
Signed liability release form required on-site
Santa Photo Tickets:
Limited to 400 tickets
1 ticket per family
Ice-skating participants should dress warmly due to cold indoor temperatures.
Personal skates are permitted, though sizes may be limited.
Food, drinks, and cellphones are not allowed inside the ice rink.
Traffic & Safety:
Attendees are encouraged to plan ahead, observe posted traffic signs, and follow instructions from Police Officers assisting with traffic near the venue.
Mayor Dr. Victor Treviño shared his enthusiasm for the event, stating:
