City of Laredo Invites Community to the 44th Annual Hamilton Trophies Guajolote 10K Race & 1 Mile Walk

Laredo, Texas – The City of Laredo and District 8 Council Member Alyssa Cigarroa, in partnership with the Santiago Sanchez Foundation and Hamilton Trophies, invite runners, walkers, and families to participate in the long-standing Thanksgiving tradition, the 44th Annual Hamilton Trophies Guajolote 10K Race & 1 Mile Walk, taking place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The race will begin at 1320 Garden Street in Laredo.

This beloved annual event brings together athletes of all ages to kick off Thanksgiving Day with energy, fitness, and community spirit. Participants may choose between the competitive 10K run or the family-friendly 1-mile walk.
Registration Fees:
Adult 10K: $25
Adult Walk: $25
Youth Walk/10K (18 & under): $15
Race Day Fee (all participants): $30
Registration is available at http://www.itsyourrace.com or through the QR code featured on the official race flyer.

Packet pickup will be held at Peter Piper Pizza – San Dario (4600 San Dario Ave., next to H-E-B Calton) on November 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Race-day number distribution will also take place starting at 7:15 a.m.
Runners will receive a chip-timed race number.
Walkers will receive a non-chip number; the walk is not chip-timed.
