A classical chamber music concert with a special emphasis on interpretation of works by Mexican composers will delight audiences at a String Quartet Concert featuring the Cuarteto Bellas Artes de México (Fine Arts Quartet of Mexico) today at 7:30 p.m. at the Texas A&M International University Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall. The event is hosted by the Mexican Consulate in Laredo, Gateway Rotary Club, Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Instituto Cultural México Laredo. General admission is $10; admission for students is free with an ID. Proceeds will support the Laredo Gateway Rotary Club and the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra. Make some time for laughs at Texas A&M International University. Two professional comedians will perform at 7 p.m. at the TAMIU Student Center, room 236. Admission is free for TAMIU students with ID.
