LC and Mexican Consulate award $29K in scholarships to empower students

(Laredo, Texas)-Laredo College is proud to announce the continuation of its impactful partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in Laredo through the IME Becas Scholarship Program.
This initiative, established in 2015, reflects a shared commitment to expanding educational access for students of Mexican origin residing in the United States.
The IME Becas Program, led by the Instituto de Mexicanos y Mexicanas en el Exterior (IMME) under Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), aims to improve access to education at all levels: adult, secondary and higher education.
Through this collaboration, students are empowered to pursue their academic goals and contribute to the development of the border region.
