City of Laredo to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Springfield Avenue Extension Phase 4

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo, District 6 Council Member Dr. Tyler King and the Webb County – City of Laredo Regional Mobility Authority (WC-CL RMA), in collaboration with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), invite the public and media to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of Springfield Avenue Extension Phase 4.
This major infrastructure project, now complete, connects Springfield Avenue between San Isidro Pkwy. And Bob Bullock Loop, offering a critical new corridor to ease congestion, enhance mobility, and improve access for both residents and local businesses. The project was made possible through strategic funding from the WC-CL RMA, land contribution by local developer Pat Murphy, and in coordination with TxDOT on acceleration and deceleration lanes at the intersection.
The ceremony will commemorate the successful collaboration that delivered this vital roadway improvement and marks a milestone in the city’s transportation network expansion.
