(Laredo, Texas)-This summer’sLaredoCollegeHealth SciencesSummerCamp gavecampersthechance tostep into the operating room and experience the joy of a game of giant Operation. Lovingly built by staff, the Operation game made its debut to bring children and the health sciences closer together.
“When kids associate learning with fun,it sticks with them,”Vocational Nursing Program Director Rosalinda Montemayor said. “I believe this experience will be something they remember—no tjust because of the game, but because it introduced them to the world of health sciences.
