LAREDO, TX— The Laredo Public Library invites the community to a day of science, creativity, and hands-on discovery at NSF STEM Day, taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library.

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the National Science Foundation (NSF), this free, family-friendly event honors decades of NSF-supported exploration, discovery, and innovation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Whether you’re a curious child, a teen maker, or an adult innovator, STEM Day offers something for everyone. Visitors can dive into interactive exhibits and activities such as:

Robotics demonstrations
LEGO engineering builds
Braille learning stations
3D pen creations
Drone flying zones
And much more!

This is a unique opportunity for community members of all ages to engage with STEM in fun, accessible, and inspiring ways, while also learning about the ongoing impact of NSF-funded research and programs.

Join us as we celebrate a legacy of innovation—and spark the imaginations of future scientists, engineers, and explorers.
