El Metro Transit Office Closure and Temporary Service Schedule Due to Extreme Weather Conditions

Laredo, Texas – January 17, 2025 – Due to extreme weather conditions and the potential for icy roadways, El Metro Transit will close all administrative offices on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, to ensure the safety of both employees and the community. Administrative offices will reopen on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Additionally, El Metro Transit System is advising the community that on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the transit system will operate on a temporary schedule due to anticipated freezing temperatures. All El Metro buses will run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with service adjustments made to ensure the safety and well-being of both passengers and staff during the colder weather conditions.
