Written by Post Public Information Representative, Jun 17, 2024, 0 Comments
As the City of McAllen begins the Main & Jay Drainage Improvement project, storm infrastructure construction will cause a closure at the Bicentennial Hike & Bike Trail from Lark Avenue to Dove Avenue. The hike & bike trail will be closed to all pedestrian and cyclist traffic beginning on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 and is expected to last approximately one week.
Pedestrians and cyclists are urged to find alternate routes during the closure and exercise extreme caution and patience when traveling along the area. Pedestrian traffic is to follow detour route along Bicentennial Boulevard.
