Guns n Roses rocked the Alamodome with four hours of live music. Axel Roses’ performance was on point as he sold you every song with his movement on stage and his mesmerizing stare making eye contact with the audience. Slash kept us on the edge of our seats with his guitar not showing any signs of aging. Duff McKagan’s bass playing and back-up vocals kept the pace going throughout the night.
The audience was in tune with all songs on the setlist that included 26 songs before a 5 song encore. The band started with It’s so easy as it made it’s way towards their classic Welcome to the Jungle which was its seventh song of the evening. After Welcome to the Jungle Guns n’ Roses went into its newest single Perhaps as they continued thru their setlist for the night winding it down towards the end with Nightrain afterwards returning for a five-song encore that included Coma, Madagascar, Paience, Dont Cry, and Paradise City.
The fans were pre-energized by a live performance of the opening act for the evening which was Alice in Chains.
