Sheriff’s Deputies Seize Narcotics Near a Middle School

Laredo, Texas (Webb County) – On September 30, 2009, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotic investigation at the 3000 block of Garfield, located approximately 1000 feet from a Middle School.
The investigation led Deputies to the seizure of 7 individual doses of heroin ready for sale containing an estimated 0.9 grams, also found was one syringe containing a brown substance (2.4 grams of heroin), and one bundle containing a green leafy substance (1.2 ounces of marijuana). The overall estimated street value of the narcotics was $800.00. Arrested was Jorge Moncivais, 59, Jorge Moncivais Jr., 41, and Clarissa Yvette Moncivais, 22. They were charged with possession of controlled substances, Drug Free Zone felony 2 and possession of marijuana, a state jail felony. They were remanded to the Webb County jail.
