Suga Show Rallies in the Second Half to Beat the Bad Boyz

(Laredo, Texas)- South Laredo’s Suga Show Basketball Team rallies back from a 10 point deficit with 2 minutes left in the second half to beat the Bad Boyz in last night’s City of Laredo’s A Division basketball game held at the Haynes Recreational Center.
The Bad Boys took an early lead taking a 42-34 lead at the end of the firts half but failed to hang on as Suga Show kept the game within its sights and then rallied at the end for a 14-point swing on the scoreboard.
Devin Stallings and Jerry Garcia each finish their night with 14 pts a piece while Anthony Merino leads Suga in scoring with 15 points.
Josue Casarez adds 10 points of his own before sitting out the final minutes of the game with an injury.
Leonardo Campos has a personal season high on the stats sheet with 8 points and Joshwa Palacios continues his 3 point onslaught shooting sinking three shots from 3 point land.
Alberto Moncivais and Sergio Castillo kept Suga close playing outstanding defense by disrupting the Bad Boyz offense.
Suga Show finishes its sophomore season in the City of Laredo’s A Division 8-2 improving from last year’s 6-4 record.
