SKI MASK BURGLARS ARRESTED!

On Wednesday September 23, 2009 at approximately 4:41am Laredo Police received a call of a burglary in progress. The caller advised that two subjects wearing a ski mask were attempting to gain entry into a place of business located at 2802 Santa Ursula.
When Patrol Officers arrived they observed the subjects running westbound towards San Bernardo. After a brief pursuit on foot, officers were able to detain the suspects who were later identified as Joshua Cortez 19yr old d.o.b. 7/29/90, Joshua Carbajal 20yr old d.o.b. 07/23/89 and Alvaro Villanueva 20yr old d.o.b. 3/14/89.
The suspects were arrested, booked and charged with Attempted Burglary of a Building C/A and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity State Jail Felony. All 3 were remanded to Webb County Jail pending Magistration.
This is another example in which the community played a vital role by being vigilant and reporting the crime in progress and in arresting this individuals.
