Building Department to Start Temporary Inspection Summer Schedule

Laredo, Texas – Effective Tuesday, July 6, 2021, the building inspections made by the Building Development Services will be conducted between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. This new schedule is to avoid our field inspectors to be exposed to the extreme heat during the summer months peak heat hours. This temporary schedule will be in effect until September 3, 2021.
A reminder, all inspections can now be called in 24 hours a day using the Building Development Services automated system online at Click2gov (www.cityoflaredo.com/building) or via phone at (956) 794-1660.
Inspection Scheduling Instructions:
1. https://www.cityoflaredo.com/Building/
2. Under Online Services click on Click Here
3. Click on Select Permit and Enter Permit Number
4. Make a choice from the Menu and click on the corresponding option
Please note that inspections called in or logged in before midnight will be conducted the next business day.
