City, County Confirm 7 New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo and Webb County have SEVEN new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 676th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-60’s. She died Thursday, February 04, 2021.
The 677th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-70’s. She died Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
The 678th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-70’s. He died Thursday, January 28, 2021.
The 679th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-80’s. She died Thursday, January 28, 2021.
The 680th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-60’s. He died Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
The 681st death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-70’s. He died Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
The 682nd death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late-80’s. He died Saturday, January 23, 2021.

As of 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 05, 2021, a total of: 282,577 people have been tested; 41,210 have resulted positive (1,136 are active); 39,392 persons have estimated recovered; 176 are currently hospitalized (70 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate is at 34.82% and 682 people have died.
