City, County Confirm Four New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have FOUR new confirmed death in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 463rd death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-60’s. He died on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
The 464th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-70’s. She died on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
The 465th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-70’s. She died on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
The 466th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late-80’s. He died on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

As of 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020, a total of 154,421 people have been tested, 23,723 have resulted positive (1,336 are active), 21,921 persons have estimated recovered, 150 are currently hospitalized (50 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate 30.7% and 466 have died.
