City, County Confirm 1 New COVID-19 Related Death

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have ONE new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.

The 389th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early-90s. He died on Friday, November 20, 2020.

Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

As of 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020, a total of 111,452 people have been tested, 18,886 have resulted positive (1,228 are active), 17,269 persons have estimated recovered, 127 are currently hospitalized (40 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate 25.7%, and 389 have died.
