Webb County Sheriff’s Office Operation Leads to Seizure of Marijuana

Laredo, Texas (Webb County) – As a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, received information that illegal narcotics were being stored at a house in the 1300 block of Ugarte Street.
After a search of the residence, deputies found three large bundles of marijuana inside the house. The bundles added up to 67 pounds, with a street value of $20,000.
No arrests were made. The investigation continues.

These drugs could’ve ended in our children’s path,” said Sheriff Cuellar. “We will continue to fight crime and keep our community safe.
