(Laredo, Texas)-Students from Los Obispos MS National Junior Honor Society treated United ISD police officers to lunch in appreciation of their daily work and to celebrate National Police Week.
Officers driving their patrol cars arrived at the main entrance of the school to the curbside celebration in their honor. NJHS members and school administrators brought food to their units and at the same time said ‘thank you’ for their service to UISD’s students and schools.
Joining the celebration were Ramiro Veliz III, Board of Trustees President; Ricardo “Rick” Rodriguez, Board Secretary; Jessica Salazar, LOMS Principal; Brenda Cognata, NJHS Sponsor; Captain Aaron Salazar; National Junior Honor Society members; and United ISD Police Department officers.
